Norm - I am enjoying a Florida mango this morning sent by my friend who lives in Pt.St. Lucie, picked from her tree and sent up here for me to enjoy the flavor of Florida sunshine. YUM!
better take a nap then more coffee..getting nowhere fast lol. Might sit in the sunshine before it starts getting too hot. Later folks.. have a great one
Ok I think I can be of some help. I know K 1st, 2 straight over $S goes up and back down on the 5. I changed the red queens with almost equal success so I'm not sure which.
Hey, I managed to improve my ranking by five points even though I finished last so far today and didn't play yesterday! Maybe I should stop while I'm ahead! I guess it doesn't matter too much when you're not very high up in the rankings.
Yes, thanks! She had just had a bunch of knots shaved off so I got that little "Princess" T-shirt for her in case she felt a little chilly (even though she was up in the main part of the house instead of being downstairs - we call it "Camp Feral" - with the rest of the gang). She tolerated it for a few hours at a time and then, after several days, we had to give up on that idea completely! Unfortunately, I lost her in April but we buried her in her little T-shirt. Her name was Charity.
Been mad busy lately, work, kids, remodeling. Ack. So, with great and humble apologies may I offer a unforgivably late but nonetheless warm and hardy "Happy Birthday" to you, Mr. Baldy. And a clue from yesterday's game: 8 plays straight up. If that's not the one you were missing, holler and I'll try again.
can't do it. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.....where are you A of hearts?????????? dammmmmmmnnnnnn...i'm supposed to be a genius! what's happening??????
finally. finally. can't even remember how i solved it. oh praise yahweh i'm still brilliant.
whooooooosh! i was worried for a second. hahahahahahahahaha
Charity got to live inside for over four years so her last years were lived in comfort. All of the kitties are 10-15 years old and will live out their lives inside where they are not exposed to the elements, coyotes, and human cruelty. It's still hard when I lose them. I've lost three already this year.
Hey, mcr girl! How long have you had your kitten? Did you start her out in a small room with a litter box, restricting her to that room until she got the hang of using the box? Then you can expand her world gradually. IMPORTANT: You MUST use CLAY litter, not scoopable litter for kittens. Read my comments posted on the Forum under "57 Feral Cats". I think I gave further explanations there.
We have had the kitten for about 2 weeks..the kitten is about 2 mos old....she mainly stays in my sons room cuz its his cat then when we let the little stinker out to stretch its legs and such ..it peed in my 2nd sons room on his bed.....then today ..he peed on the couch upstairs......
Has the kitten been to the vet? You want to make sure that she doesn't have any medical issues going on. Sometimes cats will stop using their box when there's another problem. Try putting a second litter box in the second bedroom. I wouldn't give her the run of the house until she's using the litter box properly. Also, I did a Google search on "Training kitten to use litter box" and all kinds of great websites loaded with information came up. Check out some of those for more ideas. Good luck and keep me posted.
yes..shes been to the vet..twice already...you know ..regular check ups and such plus she had ear mites before we got her so the doc wanted to check to make sure they were gone..shes good to go...I will check out the websites and I'll let you know...thanks a bunch....
Oopsie...I don't know why I keep saying she...George is a boy...yes my son named his kitten George.....does it make a difference to the problem if the kitten is a boy or girl?......I looked up some sites and they say its emotional..lonely, frustrated, insecure, jealous,...well we have 2 dogs as well...I will keep my eye on it.....mmmmm
Norm, jump through all the hoops til' the 3 goes up. 6 and 5 will let the 4 go up and down and just leave a red 9 for the 8. Still not a gimme' but it might knock off a few strokes...
mcr girl, are the dogs big and threatening? Do they get along with George? Have you thought about getting a second kitten? That would give George a companion his own size and they would be good for each other. They sleep, eat, and play together. It's not twice the work but more than twice the fun for them, and twice the entertainment for you! They also learn by watching and copying each other. If my adult ferals could learn to use the box late in life, I'm sure there's a solution for George!
