I did a lot of switching to finish, but that may be because I made bad moves earlier.

Donna, how about something from Johnny Horton's. I see him advertised at the hockey games, but have never tried anything from there. Are the pastries any good?

Donna, thanks for the coffee. I really needed that extra cup. Does anyone need any hazelnut with theirs? I've got a big bottle here to share.

Tim Horton's? Yes they are very good! It is very much a tradition up here. They serve pretty much the same sort of thing that Dunkin' Donuts does.. different coffees, pastries, donuts of course lol and small meals and soups etc. They have them in Maine, I know... is that the only state?

Tim Horton played for the Toronto Maple Leafs..opened his first coffee and donut shop in Hamilton, Ontario. My uncle always swore by them, he and my aunt lived there and that was before it became a widespread chain. He was killed in a car accident I believe before it became a coast to coast operation ... 30 years ago at least..

Oops, I knew better than that. Yes, Tim Horton's. My excuse is age. Yes, he was killed in an accident in St Catherine's back in 74. I remember watching him play back in the "transition days" when the NHL was expanding. Johnny Horton was a country singer back in the 50's & 60's.

Tim Horton's shops are all over - here in Columbus, Ohio we have a number of stores. A number of years ago they merged with Wendy's Internatioal and really expanded. While they are still good, I remembe the first time I stopped at one. We were in Canada, viewing Niagara Falls and found one on a side street. The cofee was great and I couldn't get over the sizeof the muffin. It was delicious. Now, while still good, they are not as big as what I remembered eating. My husband and I like to stop in for soup combo ( drink, soup, roll and donut) and play a game of Scrabble. I'll bring some Timbits to our CoffeeClatch this morning.

Morning! Working this afternoon and my last gig until September. We have no Tim Horton's in NYC but we have lots of Dunkin Donuts, not to mention Starbucks, which is on every corner in Manhattan and all over the boroughs. Dunkin Donuts makes great ice coffee.

Gotta go. Ass 3 is now officially overdue. :-( I feel like a naughty school kid. Do you think the lecturer will believe me if I tell her our pet camel chewed it and I have to rewrite it?
