way to go donna at last a very easy no flip game Hope all are ok Nice sunny day here already 76 out there time to sit under a nice shady tree and have a cool drink . have a nice day one and all
And a very good sunday morning to all (or monday or evening, or whatever). I'm about ready to go make brunch for the frau. I'll come back later this afternoon and see how badly I did today. Enjoy the weekend.
Good Morning Cravers Sad today, My youngest son with daughter in law and grandchildren just pulled out from the curb in their rental truck and are moving about 100 miles away. They have been an everyday part of my life for the last 6 years. Now the good news is that this is related to his graduation and the very nice career change that resulted. Solitaire through tears is never easy but like a good addict will persist.
Oh, I'm so sorry. He must be the one who just graduated with honors !! How bittersweet for you !!! My closest grandchildren live over 80 miles away, and the younger ones live 850 miles away. I feel your pain, and I spend a lot of time on the interstates. No doubt you will too.
Pa Baldy , my two children live both fare away , it is difficult to live with the absence .
The hardest part is when they are sick . I just get back from Brussels to be with Matteo (19 years) , he was feeling very tired and had high fever for a month .
We stay with him till we had diagnosis and treatment.
This has been a very confusing weekend for me Norm. I find myself rooting for the Yankees to win and the red sox to lose. That never happens. I have two favorite teams normally. The Phillies and whoever is beating the pants off the Yankees. Especially the sox because Yankee fans find that particularly degrading. LOL
(((((((((((((((Pa))))))))))))) My two grandsons are in Germany. Time for you to invest in a webcam. They maybe $45.00 or so, then you can see them everyday if you like. Check it out. It's he next best thing to real hugs! I can see they new sneakers , their report cards and they're missing teeth!! Oh yea, you and your son need one.
Hi Norm! Sorry I missed your post earlier. Went to eat at Bob Evans after returning some things to Lowes. Dennis has been building a shed in the back yard! He's working on doors today and then he has the siding to do and is pretty much finished. We'll landscape this fall or next spring. Depending on how much money he spends on the siding!! lol
Aw, Padaddy! I thought it was just Red Sox fans that spent their energy hating the Yankees. No worries! I am a die hard fan and I don't really care what other say, but PLEAE don't make me root for the Mets!
Hello everyone -
Been busy ! Took a couple of Girl Scout to Seattle for 4 days, and now back at home!
I have a lot of games to play!
Hope you all are doing well, and are happy!
We had a blast ! We learned how to use the Seattle bus system - and it was hard. We only messed up one time. Not bad - it better then driving in Seattle !!
Ahhhh Lynne C. We will never agree on the Yankees. I believe all true Phillies Phans hate the Yankees. We do agree on the Mets. Till midnight tonight I will be a temporary Yankee fan because they helped the Phils to a 4 game lead.
Nieves, welcome back,i am looking forward to tomorrow as we go away to Tuscany for a few days and then to my home town to visit my Parents for a week. Can't wait
Luigi - can I go as well .....hee hee ! Well have lots of fun!
Dick - I know that is way we took the bus, someone told us that parking is a big pain .....so the bus it was. Plus I really did not want to drive in Seattle. Portland is enough for me!!
Hey Nano! I was surprised to see that you missed getting a star on game #1120! And I could have sworn you use to be faster in your earlier days! As young as you are and as perfectionistic as you seem to be, I'm surprised that this old lady (moi) is faster than you!!! Of course, you can stay slow cause I don't need to be pushed back any further! You and fizzbut do a good enough job pushing me back on the moves!! lol
I'm mainly about the lowest moves this time around not speed . I get more out of the challenge to find the lowest moves then being the fastest. 1121 was the first game I had really started playing on when I came back to solitaire craving, and since I hardly go back to previous games I just left it where it was .
I'm surprised since that is the only one of the current games that you don't have lowest moves on! If you re-did it, you'd have a perfect run of stars! I'm pulling for you Nano!
Pa and Lynne C. - I know you might not see this until tomorrow, but I for one could never root for the Yankees! Give me the Reds or The Indians! I amaze my husband because I will root for the Cleveland Indians and Cavs, but I hate the Cleveland Browns! Which happens to be his favorite team! Awwww sports! The fun of competition. But isn't that a small fraction of why we do this site? It isn't to compete with each other, but to make ourselves improve on each game. That's why I do it anyway!! Goodnight everyone! Talk to you tomorrow...... ;x
Okay, I said goodnight, but I'm still trying to find those last 2 moves. Fizzbut, if you see this before tomorrows game, please, please, please give me a hint - or 2!! Thanks! btw, I'll be in Ohio next weekend so keep that mask on!! lol
K68 first. Wait to bring down the 10 onto the J. I'm thinking of posting a picture. Ann-Maree is never going to catch several of us because some of our fans don't play anymore. So the mask may come off.
Like many of your clues, your directions to find you are a little obscure. Instead of "Where's Waldo?", we're now going to play "Where's Fizz?". And more interestingly, what year is this?
There's a blond hair girl in front of the girl next to me who is smiling. It appears she's the only one who was smiling in the room. I remember being told that day to be on our best behavior. I think we were all too afraid of messing up to enjoy the occasion.
I just checked back in and couldn't figure out what you were talking about until I refreshed the page! I found you, but I'm sure you have either less hair or grayer (unless yours did as mine did and got darker as I got older) and you are probably taller and maybe a little pudgy as some of us baby boomers are! I'm thinking I'm going to have to get a camera with a telescopic lens and do a private investigating job this summer!! HaHa! Of course that could be expensive because I'd have to either borrow or rent a different vehicle. Mine has my name on the license plate "TEGEHLE"!!
I was just thinking, TKO lives in Columbus! Maybe we could all recruit her to get fizzbut's picture and post it for us!!!?? Yes, I'm devious by nature!
Fizzbut, That was a bit of a work-out, the game and the photograph. A much appreciated pic!, but would prefer to see the real you now. After all it's one of the reasons I keep playing SG!!! Lol Jacxx
