Hey everyone!!! Sounds like we are all getting a break from the heat Gave me a good chuckle Pa!! Redru.. you would think we were in other parts of the world or something??? lol Stay warm!!!
Well, I made the board - for a few minuts at least - anfd have much to do. We are moving my Mom to the Rehab Center today and I have to gather things together to take over. Have a good day all and keep safe - I am not going to say keep cool as some of us are having a cold spell it seems. ;)
@Fizzbut, Unfortunately I have to go, no doubt you will go lower. May-be back later, as it's a rainy day here too! Been raining for the past week, just what the garden needs! Jac xxx
Car is finally done - and I hope it is all OK. Seems to be anyway. Mom is doing better. She had a couple of bad days but is getting stronger. Thanks....
i give up. the 3 of spades has f&&^^$^$&%*%*^*&ed me up completely. i cannot pull down that 3 of spades no matter what. whyyyyy???? whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy??????????????????
Deep breath, hold... exhale slowly....Ahhhhhhh....... Now try again with clues. The easy way is to switch the 8 back onto the 9 to play the 9 up (but it's not the lowest moves way)
Ok Now I'm ready I just spent the last hour trying not to solve the mahjong of the day and was a rousing success. Now let's see if I can't catch Sir Fizz
Hi 57 Feral Cats!! Thanks for asking... I had a heck of a miserable night. I was in awful pain.. til I finally decided to keep my eye open for as long as possible. It is the only way I can make my eye water and have any moisture.. that finally washed a large part of the bug out of it. Eye drops and flushing did nothing so thank God that finally helped. It is still sore and blurry, but hopefully just residual irritation and no more bug parts lol.
What a terrible thing to happen! I hate long miserable nights, too. Sorry you had to go through that. And yes, let's hope there are no more bug parts and that your eye is on the mend.
I was reading someone's profile who is from Virginia. How many of you out there are from or are living in Virginia? I'm originally from northern Virginia but am currently living in Danville, down south right near the border of North Carolina.
I have tried this game for hours. I am not in the top players, but have always been able to complete a game. Even the hard ones. I have done what fizzbut said to do by switching the 8 back onto the 9 to play the 9 up. Still stuck. How do you get the 10 and 3 then. Help I am going bald quickly by pulling my hair.
It is a really convoluted puzzle dianneworthy. I got a decent score once and can't figure out how I did it. yes I played the 9s straight up but can't do it again lol
near the end you must bring down the 6s onto the 7. You then move the 5 onto the 6s..which is how you can put up the 6s. But I can't string it all together again lol.
Well, I'm fifth from the bottom but I finally finished. The only thing that I can pass along so you might be able to at least finish (but not with low moves) is to watch how you play the Diamonds. Either play them over, if possible, or play them below without covering them up or play cards on them that also have a chance to play up. Then you can eventually play the 2 through 7 of Diamonds above and can finally play the 8 of Diamonds straight up when it is uncovered on the last pile. Hope that helps somebody . . . I'm sure many had more efficient ways of doing it but my goal was just to FINISH!!
I think it was explained once but I don't recall what I'm supposed to do to get the Hearts, Clubs, etc. to appear in writing. Also, JBAMA - I used to travel through Ashland quite often on my way from Vienna to Richmond to visit my brother and his family. Nice little town! I also remember stopping at the place in Ashland where the D.C. Snipers had been. What a terrible time that was!
Yes. I finally did it. LOL. With the 3rd to the last worst rating. Don't even know how, but it is done. I even have a few strands of hair left to work with.
That's what I am using. No idea what I am doing wrong that it all works except the 7s is covered at the end by 6 and I can't get it up so 9s goes up. I am as bald as dianeworthy lol!!!
Alright Hamlette, you're one move out and now I'm really starting to get depressed about my two moves away from "perfection". Instead, I think I just might have to get manic again and see if I can't find the way to Fizz's time of 54 seconds...
This one is mostly straightforward with all the clues. Also, I've long since given up my illusions of equaling Fizz's time and will now humbly sit and have a bite or two of crow pie...
Even in my dreams, I'm not able to break a minute with this one...
