Georgie...as sad as it is..I have to wait for a new game as well to ever see the board! and Lynne I have to agree...let me stay on the board for more than a NY minute! My brief brushes with fame, occasionally, continue to give me hope though!

Donna, the IRL is the Indy Racing League, That's the open wheeled racers here in the US. They also race in Montreal. Not as good as the old CART league, but it's the only one we have. I like racing, whether it's Formula One, IRL or NACAR. Guess I'm just an old redneck.

donnamusica

I like Formula One and Indy racing though a bit less the latter..I have never been able to get into NACAR..no clue why. I think the F1..just cause it is here and I was so battered by the noise I figured I had better start loving it or go mad lol

Happy Fourth All! I have spent the past 3 weeks on the road; traveling with my family in a rented RV across the USA and back. Twenty States, 7300 miles, all the major western attractions (Yosemite, Yellowstone, Rushmore, Sequioas, Mesa Verde Cliff Dwellings, Salt Lake, Arches, Red Rock - AWESOME!!! spent the past two days playing all the games, dropped from 15 to 180 - back up to 27. Hope everyone is doing well. It's good to be back and on the computer!

scooter I did most of that trip as a kid back in 65. Didn't get to Sequioa but did see the Grand Canyon. We camped in tents but it was the best vacation I've ever had. How are the parks doing these days?

The parks around here (Utah) are as beautiful as always as are the mountains. The West has some spectacular sights. Hint: don't bring down 6.

Welcome back Scooter! Your trip sounds so fun!!!! I remember seeing some of those places when I was a kid in oh-never-mind-what-year. We stayed in motels and had lots of picnics....long before fast food. I was 6 the first trip and 8 the second trip but still remember lots of it.

Donna, good thoughts for your aunt.

Fizz - how could I forget the Grand Canyon??!! Saw that too. Thanks Miss Lanny, Hamlette, wonder how close I got to you?? The Parks were all great - some hair-raising turns in a 31 foot RV that I learned to drive 4 days before!!! LOL Lots of road construction and 1 lanes in the parks - it's "spring time" there, so I'm guessing rock slides and tough winters take a toll on those narrow passes. I certainly picked up some wicked driving skills!! The West was just awesome... can't really even pick out a favorite - trip of a lifetime!!

I'm in Salt Lake Scooter, bet we were within spitting distance. I can't even imagine driving Arches in a RV that big. Doesn't have to be a trip of a lifetime. Next time come out and do a river trip, or rent a "Jeep" and go into the back country. Ya all come. There is road work going on all over the state thanks to the stimulus money. We have been putting it off and sure needed it.

Hamlette, we stayed overnight in our RV at a Walmart (it was the first floor of a two-floor parking deck - never have seen a two story Walmart. Is that one you've been to before? Walked in the Great Salt Lake. It was a little too cold to swim, but we liked it a lot!

Pa, Emm's advice helped me. Hearts and spades together except, as emm said, 7 on 8 and also, 8 on 9 and 5 on 6. After the flip, bring down 3 for 2 and the 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 all go up straight. Scooter, was it across the street from a Lowe's? If so, it is the closest to my house but still a few miles away.
