As a newcomer, I think we can move up the rankings quite quickly if we persevere.I started out at 800 odd a couple of weeks ago, and am now at 223. I'm happy

And Tammie and Donna, Adam tried to change the ranking system but popular opinion made him change it back. It takes a long time to get to the top with this system which I don't mind. I'm bull headed enough to stick with it and I get to chase strawb. lol. My concern is that I don't think it's particularly welcoming to new comers and the longer the games go on the harder it will be to move up in the rankings and the less they will mean. I'm saving that campaign till I get into the top 10. Maybe around Easter.

Fizzbut, you are good for my game! I went into the archives and beat emm, fraug, and you on moves on March 28 '07. As a result I jumped ahead of you again. Thanks for the motivation!!!!
