Robin, I had heard recently about the Happy Birthday song. I think it has something to do with a copyright violation or some strange thing like that. Don't understand??? I hope the "birthday police" don't start raiding all the family birthdays we have or we're in trouble.

Happy Mothers Day

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers.  And a joyful day to all of the rest of you.  Off to the beach for lobster with my wonderful daughter

I went to a restaurant last night to celebrate my brother and sister-in-law's birthday (fraternal twins).  Guess what I discovered ? Did you know that it is illegal to sing the original happy birthday  song in the restaurant ?  It used to be when you patronized  an eating establishment, the staff would come to your table and sing 'Happy Birthday.'  What is our nation coming too ?  Our freedoms are being whittled away day by day and most of us do not know about  the freedoms we once  enjoyed being declared illegal through our lawmakers.
